Progress at 5 months post-op........

I'm a little over 5 months post-op so I thought it was time to update on my losses:

Weight lost so far:

4st 9lbs.

Inches lost so far:

Waist: - 9"

Hips: - 7"

Thigh: - 6"

Chest: - 5 1/2"

Upper arm: - 2"

Introduction

I am 40 years old, female, happily married with three wonderful teenage children and a gorgeous chocolate labrador. I work full time running my own business . I used to be unhappily obese - and to address my unhappiness I lost 6.5st, with the aid of a gastric band.

My gastric band operation, performed by Mr David Hewin, took place at Dolan Park Hospital on 30th December 2011 when I was 37 years old.

I reached my goal weight on 11th August 2012 (a little more than 7 months post surgery and 8 ½ months after beginning my pre-op diet); I am now happily maintaining my weight.
